Innocent Idibia famously known as 2Baba met Annie Macaulay when she was just 15 years old in 2000. She had never had a boyfriend before meeting him, and they were together until they got married in 2012.
At the time when they met, 2Baba was 24, so they were both young. This is why it was so difficult for Annie Macaulay to leave 2Baba, even after all the cheating and children he had with different women (She never had experience with any other man before and after 2Baba).

During their marriage, 2Baba went on to have children with two different women. As an African woman, Annie wanted to keep her marriage intact and defended her husband against online in-laws. She said this to all those throwing insülts at her husband , "My husband just has 5 kids with only 2 other women besides me, so it’s not like he was having babies everywhere"
After over 12 years of marriage, 2Baba decided to get a divorce. Annie is not agreeing to the divorce despite their natural separation, which left 2Baba with no choice than to bring the issue to the internet so she gets pressured to sign the papers.

It's rumored that 2Baba wants to marry one of his baby mamas and needs a divorce from Annie to proceed.
But it has finally be revealed that the reason why 2baba want to divorce his wife ,was because he had kidney failure,
2baba who is popularly known for his music African queen,has allegedly blamed his estranged wife,Annie Macaulay Idibia ,for their separation.

According to reports,the Nigerian music legend claimed that the reality TV star did not care for him, especially when he was ill.
2baba accused Annie of neglecting him when he suffered from kidney failure.
"my wife was more interested in her reality shows ,and I want to the hospital alone" he reportedly said

"How many times did I leave my hospital bed to attend appointment just to provide for the family I love so much? I suffered severe consequences and relapses for that. Where was she " he asked
"No I am the devil because I am causing drama over a divorce," added.
